ABOUT
Shawn J. Sefret is a founding partner of GPS Law Group whose practice focuses on real estate transactions including acquisition, development, construction, and finance, as well as commercial lending, business, and contract matters. Shawn provides counsel to commercial real estate developers and investors as well as institutional and private lenders.
qualifications
Prior to forming GPS Law Group, Shawn was a partner in the Baltimore, Maryland law firm of Rosenberg Martin Greenberg, LLP. For many years, Shawn served on the Peer Review Committee of the Attorney Grievance Commission of Maryland.
Shawn is a graduate of the University of Maryland (B.A. 1992) and the University of Maryland School of Law (J.D., 1995). During law school, he served as a Notes and Comments Editor on the Maryland Law Review. Shawn is admitted to practice in Maryland and Colorado.
Shawn has extensive experience in loan transactions secured by collateral both within and beyond the borders of Maryland.
