Professional Experience
Jennifer Billings is an Associate Attorney at GPS Law Group and practices in the area of real estate law. She is committed to providing high quality legal work to meet the individualized needs of GPS Law Group’s clients. Her practical experience and career in real estate finance before becoming a lawyer allows her to bring an insightful perspective to each client’s situation.
Jennifer graduated summa cum laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 2024.
Before becoming a licensed attorney Jennifer enjoyed a 25-year career in banking, corporate finance and real estate. In her early career she worked in Baltimore for Legg Mason focused on corporate finance transactions for REITs. After earning her M.B.A from the University of Wisconsin Jennifer worked for JP Morgan and CIFC International in London and New York. She was awarded top rankings by Institutional Investor for work as an analyst covering public high-yield and high-grade corporate bonds and credit risk. She also had the opportunity to work as a portfolio manager for a leveraged corporate loan fund and participate in capital raising and investor relations for the fund. Most recently Jennifer has developed and managed her own business in private lending to residential real estate property developers in the Maryland and D.C area.
